light & location:
Gaya requires a lot of bright indirect light. Place her in a well-lit room, ideally a few meters away from a south- or west-facing window or next to an east-facing one. Too much direct sunlight will scorch the leaves. Rotate Gaya once in a while to ensure even growth, as her stems grow towards the sun.
water:
Gaya likes her soil slightly moist. Water when the top half of the soil has dried out, approximately once a week in the summer and less frequently during the winter. If the stems start to fall, it’s a sign to water Gaya.
temperature:
Normal indoor temperatures are sufficient. Keep in temperatures between 18-27º C. Avoid cold or hot drafts.
humidity:
Needs a high humidity environment. Mist the leaves often or use a humidifier to keep a high humidity in the air.
toxicity:
Toxic to humans and animals if ingested. Keep away from kids and pets.
