light & location:
Dixie likes the sun so place him in a spot where he receives a lot of light, either bright indirect light or a direct one. Ideally, place him next to a south- or west-facing window, and in the summer months, you can put him outside. He will also live in shadier places without a problem, making him an easy indoor plant to grow, but he will grow much better with the sun.
water:
Let the soil dry out completely before watering. Water once every two weeks in the summer, and during the winter water only occasionally. Yellow leaves are a sign of overwatering.
temperature:
Keep in temperatures between 15-25º C. Avoid drafts and cold temperatures.
humidity:
Prefers dry conditions. The air in most indoor spaces is usually relatively dry, making it a great environment for Dixie.
toxicity:
Pet friendly.
