light & location:
Place Lio next to a south- or west-facing window to make sure he gets a lot of bright indirect sunlight. Some direct sunlight is okay, but too much of it will turn the leaves to yellow. Lio won’t cope well with lack of light.
water::
Keep the soil moist throughout the year. In the summer, let the top of the soil dry before watering, once every couple of days. In the water, let the top 3-5 cm dry out, watering every 10-14 days. Avoid overwatering Lio and keeping him in soaked soil.
temperature::
Standard home temperatures of 15-25º C are fine with Lio.
humidity:
Normal home humidity levels are sufficient but will appreciate a higher humidity level. Try to mist his leaves or group him with other plants to maintain a high humidity level. Avoid placing Lio next to a heating source that makes the air dry.
toxicity:
Pet friendly.
