light & location:
Phil prefers to be exposed to a moderate amount of bright light. Keep him in a well-lit room but place him where the sunbeams don’t hit directly. Phil will also live in shady spots without bright light but will grow much slower in such conditions.
water:
Keep Phil in moist soil at all times. Let the top half part of the soil dry between waterings. It’s better to keep him a bit dry than to let him sit in soaked soil.
temperature:
Warmer home temperatures are needed, between 18-28º C.
humidity:
Average humidity level is usually sufficient. If you spot brown tips in the leaves, that’s a sign of lack of humidity. In that case, mist the leaves.
toxicity:
Phil is poisonous both to humans and pets. Keep away from your children and pets.
