light & location:
Tate enjoys bright light but doesn’t cope well with direct sunlight. Ideally, place him in a partly shaded spot in a sunny room that receives bright light. He can also live in shadier conditions, but it is less recommended.
water:
It’s important to keep Tate’s soil moist but never too wet as it will make the roots rot. Let the top 5 cm of the soil dry before watering, about once a week in the summer months and less often.
temperature:
A relatively warm temperature is ideal. Try not to keep Tate at a temperature below 15º C.
humidity:
Prefers a high humidity level. The best is to avoid placing Tate right next to a heater that dries the air. Try to mist him every couple of days, or use a humidifier. Yellow and weak leaves are a sign of a lack of humidity.
toxicity:
All Philodendrons are toxic to humans and animals. Keep away from kids and pets.
